I seem to see as one of the problems surrounding everything from the economy to the continually increasing lack of ethics of my generation is simply a long forgotten principle.
The basic idea of working for what you want, saving money, and when necessary doing without. I know, the very idea of doing without everything we want is crazy. After all heaven forbid we ever suffer any lack of material goods. The idea of capitalism is based upon this concept. It matters not who you are, your family background our really even how you look for the most part. It's all about your ability and dedication to your work. Opportunity begets success. It seems to me that as technology advances and the quality of life reaches ever new heights, we begin to feel entitled to what our ancestors had to work, sweat, and die for. If ever we as a nation are ever to recover we must remember the principles of our foundation for that is what made us strong.
